This product is to be used exclusively for the specified purpose in accordance with this description.
- Initial addition: first perform a basic chlorination with Chlorifix®, Chloriklar® or Chloryte® and add the appropriate amount of Chlorilong® POWER 5 tablets directly to the skimmer.
- Continuous maintenance: check the pH-value at least once a week using BAYROL test strips and, if necessary, adjust it to the ideal range of 7.0 to 7.4.
- The optimum chlorine level is between 0.5 and 1 mg/L.
- One Chlorilong® CLASSIC tablet maintains 30 m³ evenly over approximately 7 to 10 days (note: dissolution rate may vary and is highly dependent on pump run time and water temperature).
Tip: For quick chlorine level corrections or rapid chlorine level increases, add fast dissolving chlorine product such as Chlorifix®, Chloriklar® or Chloryte® (caution: do not add Chloryte® to the skimmer if it contains other products, such as organic chlorine tablets (trichlor, dichlor, e.g. Chlorilong® chlorine tablets; see product label)).
Note: During the swimming season, the filtration system should run every day. To estimate filter time, divide your water temperature by 2 (e.g. 26°C = 13 hours of filtration a day). High water temperatures or heavy bathing require higher additions.
Important Notes: Never throw Chlorilong® POWER5 tablets directly into the pool due to risk of bleach stains. Be sure to avoid direct contact with non-chlorine resistant materials.
