Care tips for best possible water quality

So you have even more time to enjoy your swimming pool, at BAYROL we are constantly developing new products that will make pool maintenance even easier and help you save time. If you are not sure whether your current pool care method is the best possible for you, just do  our little test.

What do you do if ...

If there appears to be a problem with water quality, you should generally check the following:

• Is the pH right?

  BAYROL recommends: 7.0 -7.4

• Is the filter clean?

  Sand filter: backwash

• Cartridge filter: wash out

  Diatomite – pre-coat filter: pre-coat it new

• Is there a problem with the circulation system?

  Does the circulation pump run for at least 6 hours a day?

  Are the preliminary filter and the skimmer basket free of larger impurities, such as leaves?

• Is there sufficient fresh water supply?

  BAYROL recommends: Add 3 - 5 % fresh water weekly. This corresponds to a 5-minute backwash for sand filters
