AFM – Activated Filter Media
AFM is an advanced filter media manufactured from recycled glass. The glass surface is activated by means of a special treatment. Using AFM offers numerous advantages such as crystal clear water which is due to its smooth and even surface minimising the amount of bacteria adhering to the grains which is common with sand. This ensures high and effective levels of disinfection, maintaining a hygenically clean filter.
